EMBARKATION / DISEMBARK: CANNES
Special prices for bookings before January 31, 2022
Departure dates:
16 AND 30 JULY 2022
Boarding and time dedicated to discovering the ship. Cannes, the glittering city, is a typical Mediterranean seaside resort. It was first known by wealthy English nobles who came to the sunny south of France to escape their ancient homes during the harsh British winters. Ever since Cannes has always attracted high society. Each year, the stars gather for the famous Film Festival in the impressive Palais des Festivals.
It is one of the symbolic places of Liguria and of tourism in the Mediterranean. Famous in the world and everything to see: here is Portofino, a seaside village built around a bay, with tall and colorful houses leaning against the marina and the famous square. Here the sea reflects the colors of the houses, the sky and the vegetation and hosts the yachts, boats and ferries that arrive and depart. All in perfect harmony: this is Portofino.
Corsican resort, L'Île-Rousse is a common beauty island located in the Calvi district, facing the island of Pietra. Located on the Mediterranean coast, it extends over a small area. Île-Rousse was founded in 1758 in the Republic of Corsica Pascal Paoli. Nicknamed the Paoline of the city, it becomes an important fishing port of Corsica. In addition, it is now the third on the island in terms of freight and passenger traffic.
The combination of unspoiled nature and exceptional architectural heritage, the city of L'Île-Rousse is popular today for its tourism and its idyllic setting. Its dream beaches, which provide access to the Mediterranean Sea, attracting visitors passing through the island who want to enjoy the best attractions in the area.
Napoleon once said that he could recognize his native island blindfolded by the wonderful scent of the Mediterranean scrub. When you arrive in Corsica by sea, this is the first thing you hear. The second is its wild and mountainous landscape. Nearby there are many secluded beaches not forgetting the Caves of the Calves of the Sea, fantastic for scuba diving.
The Pass Saint-Antoine is a natural site near Vico (Southern Corsica, Corsica). This place is an attraction for tourists passing through the region.
This beach at the foot of the Pertusato lighthouse is located near the island of St-Antoine and the tip of Pertusato.
This seaside town with a Provençal flavor owes its name to the washerwomen who once washed clothes in the placid waters of the Batailler River. Do not go for a ride through the narrow streets and a panoramic view of the coast with the beach train, which is particularly fun.
Former fishing village made famous by Brigitte Bardot, Saint-Tropez is an unmissable place in the Var. Depending on the season, its face changes, but still retains all its charm. In summer, Saint-Tropez becomes a trendy seaside resort where VIPs from all over the world meet. Visitors have the pleasure of strolling in the harbor to admire sailboats and yachts, each more luxurious than the other. At this time of the year, the fun is daily, and the heart of the village never fails to fill up, with its restaurants, designer boutiques, cafes and other nightclubs.
But Saint-Tropez doesn't just mean glamor and party. In the low season, this picturesque Provencal village is full of authenticity and relaxation.
After breakfast, disembarkation and end of the cruise.
