But Venice is above all art, an art that has come down to the present day that tells of the splendors accumulated over the years of the history of the Serenissima. Il Veliero Royal Clipper
Riconoscimento ufficiale dal Guinness World Records nel 2001 come la più grande imbarcazione a vele ancora in servizio al mondo.
Era il 1902 quando il più veloce e il più maestoso veliero mai costruito, completamente equipaggiato e dotato di 5 alberi, venne varato. Il leggendario Preussen ha dominato i mari, anche se per pochi anni. Era il primo veliero di simili dimensioni ad esser mai stato armato, fino ad oggi…
Ispirato al leggendario Preussen, Royal Clipper è oggi il più grande veliero e l’unico 5 alberi costruito dopo che il suo predecessore venne varato all’inizio del secolo scorso. Con le sue 42 vele spiegate e i suoi 134 metri di lunghezza, Royal Clipper è uno dei più affascinanti spettacoli che si possano ammirare in mare.
Elegante, dotata di ogni comfort e dei più avanzati sistemi di navigazione, l’ammiraglia è la nave ideale per una crociera all’insegna dell’avventura, del relax e della tradizione della vela, con un servizio di ottima qualità, il comfort e un sistemazione dello stesso standard di moderni yacht. In grado di ospitare 227 passegeri in uno stile lussuoso, Royal Clipper è entrata a far parte nel 2001 del Guinness World Records per essere il più grande veliero armato nel mondo.
I ponti situati all’esterno occupano una superficie di 1760 mq e dispongono di 3 piscine, dove i passeggeri possono intrattenersi e rilassarsi. Gli ospiti possono trovare angoli nascosti e silenziosi lungo le balconate sui due lati del veliero, o scalare in totale sicurezza l’albero maestro, dal quale ammirare panorami mozzafiato!
I luminosi ed eleganti spazi interni sono composti da un atrio a tre piani che permette ai raggi del sole di filtrare fino alla sala da pranzo, dove i passeggeri possono gustare una prelibata cucina e dove non è richiesto un abbigliamento di gala. A poppa, una comoda piattaforma marina permette di tuffarsi in mare e dedicarsi agli sport acquatici.
E ancora, per chi lo desidera, il centro di benessere presso il Captain Nemo Lounge, provvisto di oblò per vedere i fondali marini, offre thalasso terapia, massaggi, idroterapia e altre cure per la salute.
